Application Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, accessing or using the COMOT NG application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. About the service

COMOT NG is a going-out decision assistant for Nigerian cities. It suggests one venue at a time based on your preferences, location, and timing. Venue information is sourced from Google Places and other public data providers. We do not own, operate or endorse the venues listed.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with Google to use the App. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental permission to use the App.

4. Free use and subscriptions

• New users receive a limited number of free venue reveals ("shuffles") each month.
• After the free quota is used, continued use requires a paid subscription billed through Paystack.
• Subscriptions are recurring and billed in Nigerian Naira (₦). Pricing is shown in the App before purchase.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Paystack account or the App. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• All payments are final unless required by law or a billing error is confirmed.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the venue recommendation system;
• harass venues, other users or our team;
• interfere with the App's infrastructure or security.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, trademarks and content are owned by COMOT NG or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved.

7. Disclaimers

COMOT NG provides suggestions only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, safety or quality of any venue. Opening hours, traffic, prices and crowd levels can change without notice. Always verify details directly with the venue before travelling.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, COMOT NG is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on any venue recommendation. This includes missed reservations, travel incidents, or any issue at a recommended venue.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may delete your account at any time from the App settings or by contacting us.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use after the changes means you accept the new Terms.
